Local Honey

I’ve been a real estate broker in the Triangle since 2005. As a Durham native, with a family owned business in Chapel Hill, I gained a unique perspective growing up in these special communities. Durham, Chapel Hill and our neighboring towns have always taken pride in being progressive and dynamic places to live.

Here are just a few of my favorite sweet spots.

Grab a Bite

Nothing says love quite like a beautiful plate of food. Whether you're hoping for Date Night or Late Night, I have eaten my way across our wonderful community! Here are a few of my favorite bites:

"The chicken panini at Toast

The spicy black bean burger and shaved ice sodas at King's Sandwich Shop

The grilled tuna melt at Parker & Otis

The perfect Cosmo and seafood risotto at Nana's

The famous BLTs at Merritt's Grill. The Thai Mussels and Fries at Kitchen. The "Nata's Chopped Salad" from my good friends at The Loop.  The Cobb salad with grilled salmon at City Kitchen. The jalapeno hush puppies at Crook's Corner. Sunday brunch at Venable…

As a lifelong resident of the Triangle ... she speaks with authority and knowledge about what each area has to offer (and is a master on the small roads, helping you learn the fast ways to navigate through the towns). ... I would not hesitate to work with Nata again.

Moving to a new area can be overwhelming. Who will cut your hair? How will you find a dentist? What about your family photos? From fine art to French manicures, Nata can put you in good hands:

"My beautiful and talented mother Linda Kornberg at Minata.

Every image in every photography project of my dear friend Lori Vrba.

The unbelievably patient, kind, and talented tech genius, Neil Berman of TheONbutton.

Pam Gutlon's dedication to the world of self taught artists at Outsiders Art and Collectibles.

My girl Cheri Sterling, AKA, "The Hair Whisperer” at

Bella Capelli Salon. The technicolor pooch portraits by

Lisa Goldstein. The smell of ink and the beauty of real paper at Sarah Almond's Shed Letter Press. Rhonda Coleman's

commitment to all things girl at Moss. The blow your doors off design talent of my not-so-local honey, Becki Griffin

of Curious Details in Houston, Texas. Dana Lange's unwavering support for The Food Bank of North Carolina through her blog

Less Dana, More Good!"
